In 2013 a decision was made to modify module wiring to bring it into line with the currently recommended Ntrak specifications, replacing Cinch-Jones connectors by Anderson power-pole plugs, and generally making the wiring DCC friendly, so that DCC could be used in the future.
The first modules so wired served mainly as a proof of concept and learning experience, and rewiring started in earnest in early 2014, with workshops held to assemble wiring harnesses and yet more workshops held to strip old wiring from modules, add additional track feeders where required and install the carefully prepared wiring harnesses.

The replacement process was not always straightforward, and here we see some of the members working to fit the new wiring and the result:
