The end of an era, or maybe two eras... The Vancouver TraiNgang most recently had Ntrak modules with the optional mountain division. But, before that, the club had for several years, modules without the mountain division, or elevated track.

Over the past week, the storage locker was cleared, equipment being removed for reuse, and modules salvaged of usable electrical components, structures, figures, and whatever else could reasonably be removed before they were unceremoniously scrapped.

The verdict is in! Members have debated; members have voted!

At the January 2025 club AGM, it was decided to move to a different module format to help overcome logistical issues.

An animated discussion ensued with strong support from those present. The choice of new system is being finalised, giving members who could not get to the meeting a chance to voice their opinions, and a final decision will be announced soon.

In the interim, all shows are suspended, and the N-trak modules are to be sold or scrapped.

Ah, a train show, and who doesn't enjoy a train show...!

The second Cloverdale train show is coming up on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds at 6050 176 st., Surrey (Cloverdale), BC.

Turn into the Fairgrounds at 176 St and 62 Ave.

(The VancouverTraingang modular layout will NOT be running at this show.)
